Scott is the 3rd generation of Gippsland Funeral Services having followed his father Geoff and grandfather Carl into the business.
As well as being a Funeral Director, Scott is a Funeral Celebrant and has been appointed as a Civil Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney General’s Department.
Scott has completed a Bachelor of Business (Transport and Logistics) at RMIT, a Graduate Diploma of Arts (Civil Ceremonies) at Monash and more recently a Master of eBusiness degree at RMIT. Scott is also a licensed A-Grade Electrician.
Scott is a Councillor (Former Mayor and Deputy Mayor) with the Wellington Shire Council, Current and former chair of the Gippsland Local Government Network and also devotes personal time to the Tanderra Ski Club Mt Hotham.
Married to Caroline with three children, Scott finds funeral service extremely rewarding because of the ability to provide high levels of personal service to families in their time of need.
Warren came to funeral service from a Police Force background. When not involved with funerals, Warren can often be found umpiring football with the Sale Umpires Association or involved with the Racing & Greyhound Industries.
Warren has been with Gippsland Funeral Services since 2004 and has lived locally since 1987, originally hailing from the Cranbourne area.
Married to Fiona with two children and five grandchildren, Warren finds the challenges of funeral service and assisting families very rewarding.
Born 1957 in Durban South Africa, James immigrated to Australia in 1958 with his parents and a younger brother.
As the eldest of 9 with 5 brothers and 3 sisters, James attended primary school at St Marys North Adelaide and then Christian Brothers College Adelaide until his father was posted with the RAAF to East Sale where he finished his studies at St Patricks College Sale.
James started working on dairy farms for 2 years and then was employed by the Sale Bowls Club as an apprentice Turf Manager after finishing his studies at the Oakleigh Technical School. He spent a total of 32 years at the club.
Married to Bev Wheeler in 1980 and the proud dad of 3 children, now works with the great team at Gippsland Funeral Services as a Funeral Director where he has been working since 2010.
Our generous off-street parking is complemented by a number of private areas and gardens, once again specifically designed to allow private, quiet moments for individuals and with family and friends.
Services can be recorded to DVD enabling the family history (as told in the eulogy and tributes) to be preserved for future generations. Copies of the DVD can also be sent to friends and relatives who could not attend the funeral service or made available via online link.
Deliberately situated outside of town, Private areas and gardens for family and friends to spend time alone when needed. Our off-street location means that mourners are not confronted by the public on leaving the chapel.
Gippsland Funeral Services also provides seating for up to 175 and standing room for 25 more. Utilising the chapel portico, allows for a further 60 seated and 40+ standing, while full committal facilities on-site allow for a complete cremation service with no need to follow to the crematorium.
Friends and relatives unable to attend the service can watch, listen and deliver tributes from anywhere in the world as long as they have broadband internet access. Quiet moments for individuals and with family and friends.
Well-equipped catering facilities for refreshments complete the package and complement our caring and convenient approach to funeral services.
Two eighty inch LED Screens adorn the walls for displaying photographic presentations of the life of the deceased. These presentations are put together by our staff with your photos. Alternatively you are welcome to supply your own presentation on DVD or plug your laptop into our system.
